Do not go where the path may lead,
go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Self-discovery might be the biggest adventure in our life where we get to become our own fellow travelers all along the way.

As a counselor my intention is to accompany my clients on this journey with an accepting, compassionate presence, to create a safe and non-judgemental space where personal growth can be fostered and where clients feel guided to their inner resources and answers.

How I can help

„Owning our story can be hard, but not as difficult as spending our lives running from it.”

(Rising Strong by Brené Brown)

Mental Health Counseling

We go to counseling because we do not want to run any more. Usually. We are seeking a space where it is safe to confront our emotions, to face what hurts and to start the work necessary for healing. We go to counseling because we need to be received with compassion, curiosity, understanding and trust. These are the nutrients that make us strong enough to find our inner resources and become able to deal with life as it is.

Food Addiction Counseling

When talking about addictions, one usually thinks of alcohol, drugs or different behavioral issues. But it is not only that. It can come in a much more mundane disguise weaving into our everyday life and robbing us from living a fulfilled life. It is called food addiction.

"During my session with Eszter, I felt safe, secure, and truly accepted, which allowed me to open up about more challenging topics. She made me feel understood, as if she knew exactly what I was experiencing. Her expertise, in-depth knowledge, and professionalism gave me confidence from the very start that I was in good hands and that finding a solution to my problem was within reach."

"I signed up for a consultation with Eszter on a whim, unsure if food addiction was even relevant to me. Initially, I doubted what I could possibly gain from it, but I was completely mistaken. Despite only carrying an extra 5-6 kilos, our conversation offered insights I never expected. I gained a deeper understanding of why I struggle to change my eating habits and uncovered how my relationship with food reflects much more than I had realized. Eszter provided clear and thoughtful explanations, and the 90 minutes we spent together turned into an engaging and enlightening experience. It offered a fresh, transformative perspective on my challenges. Highly recommended!"

"Eszter created a highly supportive and safe space, even though we met online. I was initially worried about how open and honest I would be able to be in this setting, but within the first few minutes, my concerns completely disappeared. The consultation was very insightful and shed light on perspectives and connections I’m still reflecting on days later. I definitely want to continue working together."
