A light installation made by using and reframing the elements of the animations made for Lente Kabinet’s light scenography, forming a non-screen projection experience. Tomoe is exploring the tension between the physical characteristics of light and shadow. It combines different sources like traditional Japanese shapes and patterns and graphic fundamentals from the previous century. The installation seeks to create an atmosphere where visitors can immerse into an illusionary audiovisual environment. The volumetric projection limns surfaces on smoke while the light beam highlights the contrast and provides a three-dimensional effect to the light.
