Light scenography created for Lente Kabinet, a music festival taking place at Het Twiske, a nature reserve in a cluster of villages north of Amsterdam.
Lente Kabinet’s light scenography will be shaped by the main concept of wabi-sabi and elements of Japanese visual culture.
Through the natural movements of haze and wind the volumetric projection will take an imperfect asymmetrical form above the heads of the audience while they can also gain insight on Japanese visual culture. The light scenography will not only guide visitors to enjoy the music and the symbiosis of haze and light but also will take a contemporary turn on Japanese ideals.
